About the game
Tiny Epic Vikings sends players across the frigid Runic Isles to lead a clan of Vikings over three eras, drafting Viking cards that represent leaders, builders, and warriors. You'll raid and settle islands, build boats and temples for influence, and battle for the favor of the gods in hopes of earning a place in Valhalla. Combining drafting, area control, and King of the Hill tension, it's built for 1-4 players in around 60 minutes. Like other entries in the acclaimed Tiny Epic line, it packs a surprising amount of strategic depth into a small box.
Hobbli's Notes
Scott Almes and Gamelyn Games keep delivering with this one: the drafting-into-area-control loop feels fresh even for veterans of the series, and the solo mode holds up well on its own. It's a great pick when you want a meaty strategic experience without committing to a full evening.
