About the game

Framework is a sleek tile-drafting puzzle from acclaimed designer Uwe Rosenberg, in which players draft colorful tiles to complete tasks marked by matching frame colors. Each round, the lead player reveals one more tile than there are players, and everyone selects a tile to add to their growing personal grid, covering completed tasks with tokens. Some tasks require connecting frames directly, others through orthogonal chains, and conditional tasks add an extra layer of sequencing. The first player to place all their tokens wins, and a dedicated solo mode challenges players to fit their tiles into a tight 5x5 grid. It's quick, colorful, and satisfyingly puzzly.

Hobbli's Notes

Uwe Rosenberg's knack for elegant, quick-playing puzzles shines through here: Framework delivers real tactical bite in just 30 minutes. We like that the solo variant is a genuinely distinct challenge rather than an afterthought. It's light on theme, so players craving a story-driven experience should look elsewhere.
