About the game
Tiger & Dragon is a quick trick-based tile game rooted in the traditional Japanese game GOITA. Players attack by playing a tile from their hand, and opponents can either defend with a matching tile or pass, with the tiger and dragon tiles serving as universal defenders against even and odd numbers. The first player to empty their hand scores points based on their final tile and the round's active scoring card, plus bonuses for undefended attacks. A team variant lets partners across the table combine their scores for cooperative competition.
Hobbli's Notes
This is a deceptively simple tile game with real tactical bite: reading what your opponents might be holding and timing your attacks well is surprisingly satisfying. The team variant adds a nice social layer for larger groups.
