About the game
Vagrantsong casts players as Vagrants trapped aboard the supernatural ghost train the Silver Ferryman, battling lingering spirits called Haints. Each scenario, players spend limited Coins to move around the train, investigate the unknown, rummage for helpful items, or try to remind a Haint of their lost Humanity to free it. Every Haint brings its own unique bag of tricks and mechanics, and a moment of rest between scenarios lets you swap Skills and Junk before the next encounter. Across 20+ scenarios, this cooperative, story-driven boss battler builds toward uncovering the Silver Ferryman's dark secrets.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli is drawn to the atmospheric folklore-inspired setting here: the unique boss mechanics for each Haint keep the cooperative boss-battling fresh, though it does ask for a real time and rules commitment from the table.
