About the game

Unmatched: Buffy the Vampire Slayer brings four iconic heroes from the show into the tactical, no-luck combat system of the Unmatched series. Buffy fights with Mr. Pointy or a Slayer's cartwheel kick, backed by Giles or Xander, while Spike hunts from the shadows with Drusilla's Sight, Willow risks her darker magic with Tara's help nearby, and Angel calls on Faith for support. Each hero has a uniquely designed deck built to reflect their fighting style, and tactical movement combined with card-based combat resolution rewards clever positioning over luck. It's a highly asymmetric miniatures skirmish game for two or four players that mixes seamlessly with other Unmatched sets.

Hobbli's Notes

Unmatched continues to be one of the sharpest tactical skirmish designs around, and pairing it with the Buffy license is a great fit for fans of the show's mix of drama and combat. The no-luck combat resolution means skill and positioning really matter, and every hero plays distinctly enough to keep matchups interesting. A must for Unmatched collectors and Buffy fans alike.
