About the game
Infinity Gauntlet: A Love Letter Game reimagines Seiji Kanai's classic Love Letter with a one-vs-many Marvel twist. One player takes on the fearsome Thanos, playing from a two-card hand and drawing from his own deck of minions and Infinity Stones, while the remaining players control iconic heroes like Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor, and Scarlet Witch. Heroes must combine their unique abilities to whittle Thanos's health to zero before he can defeat them all or assemble every Infinity Stone. It's a quick, tense, team-based card game bursting with Marvel fan service. Games fly by in about 15 minutes, making it easy to fit multiple rounds into an evening.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's team likes how cleverly this flips the elegant Love Letter formula into an asymmetric team battle: Thanos really does feel like a looming threat rather than just another player. Marvel fans will get a kick out of seeing their favorite heroes' abilities translated into simple card effects. At 15 minutes a round, it's easy to rematch immediately, especially if someone wants a rematch as Thanos. It's light on strategic depth, but that's true to its Love Letter roots.
