About the game
Glasgow challenges two players to abstractly travel the city, gathering resources and constructing an ever-expanding grid of buildings. Factories reward you for nearby construction, train stations may or may not pay off depending on your layout, and monuments simply bank points. Turn order is driven by position on a rondel-like ring of town figures, adding a clever push for tempo. As the twentieth building rises, the game ends and whoever shaped the city best wins.
Hobbli's Notes
Glasgow is a clever, tightly-wound two-player puzzle from a lesser-known designer that rewards careful spatial planning. Hobbli likes how the interlocking building bonuses create satisfying combos without excessive rules overhead. It's a great choice for couples who enjoy compact but crunchy Euro games.
