About the game
7 Wonders Duel adapts the acclaimed 7 Wonders formula for exactly two players, using a structured pyramid of face-up and face-down cards instead of simultaneous drafting. Over three ages, players acquire cards for resources, military strength, or scientific progress while building toward one of seven ancient wonders. Timing matters, since taking a card can uncover new options or trigger a bonus turn. The game can be won outright through military conquest, scientific dominance, or by having the most points at the end.
Hobbli's Notes
7 Wonders Duel is widely regarded as one of the best two-player games ever designed. The structured card display creates elegant timing decisions that feel fresh with every play. Its three distinct paths to victory keep both players engaged and alert until the very last card. It is a superb gateway into the civilization-building genre specifically tailored for pairs.
