About the game

Renature is a majority-scoring domino game from designers Kiesling and Kramer, where players place dominoes matching animal motifs onto a valley board and then decide whether to add their own plants to bordering areas. Plant pieces of increasing value score points as they're placed, and once an area is fully framed with dominoes, whoever holds the majority of plant value there claims the larger reward. Neutral pieces and tie-breaking rules add extra strategic nuance to majority control. Clouds let players buy back plants or extra turns, keeping the tight economy flowing until the final scoring.

Hobbli's Notes

A clever, understated majority game with a satisfying domino-placement puzzle at its core. The neutral-piece twist on majority scoring is a nice wrinkle from two very experienced euro designers.
