About the game
In Reef, players grow a coral reef by drafting cards that each provide two reef pieces and a scoring pattern. Pieces are layered onto a shared 3D reef structure, and whoever grows the most valuable patterns by game's end wins. It's a colorful, tactile abstract strategy game that plays in just 30-45 minutes.
Hobbli's Notes
A lovely gateway abstract with genuinely satisfying tactile piece-stacking. Simple to teach but the pattern-scoring keeps it interesting for repeat plays with the family.
