About the game

Warhammer Underworlds: Nightvault is a fast, competitive skirmish game for two players set in the spectral dungeon beneath the fallen city of Shadespire. Each player commands a warband of push-fit plastic miniatures, the Stormcast Eternals' Stormsire's Cursebreakers or the Nighthaunt's Thorns of the Briarqueen, moving and attacking across hex-tiled boards while building a deck of power and objective cards. Beyond simply defeating an opponent's warband, players score glory points by capturing objectives, holding ground, and playing power cards at the right moment. Once learned, games run around 30 minutes, and the box includes everything needed for two players to jump straight in, including a 32-page rulebook and matched-play tournament rules.

Hobbli's Notes

Nightvault is a standout entry in the Warhammer Underworlds line, blending genuinely satisfying deckbuilding with tactile miniatures skirmish combat. The push-fit models look great straight out of the box, and the matched-play rules give it real staying power for competitive players. It does ask for an ongoing investment in additional warband sets to keep the card pool fresh, which is worth knowing going in. For fans of quick, sharp two-player duels, it's excellent.
