About the game
Tussie Mussie is a tiny drafting game for 2-4 players based on the Victorian custom of assigning secret meanings to flower bouquets. Using an I-divide-you-choose mechanic, players look at the top two cards of an 18-card deck and offer them, one face-up and one facedown, to an opponent, who picks one and leaves the rest. After each player collects four cards over three rounds, scores are tallied. With such a small deck, every single card choice carries real weight.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli adores how much clever drafting Tussie Mussie squeezes out of just 18 cards, making it a wonderful pocket-sized microgame. Elizabeth Hargrave's charming Victorian flower-language theme gives the simple mechanics real personality. Its quick teach and short playtime make it an easy addition to any collection. The tiny card pool does mean its longer-term variety is fairly limited compared to bigger games.
