About the game
Sea Salt & Paper is a quick, push-your-luck card game about building the best hand of origami-themed cards. On your turn you can draw, play cards for special effects, or gamble on ending the round to lock in your point lead. Every round is a tense guessing game: do you stop now while you're ahead, or give your rivals another turn to catch up? The game ends once players reach a set point total, so timing your calls matters as much as your hand. Charming origami art and tight, replayable rounds make it a favorite quick filler.
Hobbli's Notes
This is one of the best light filler games to come out in recent years: the push-your-luck 'stop the round' decision creates real tension in every hand. It's easy to teach in a couple of minutes but still rewards paying attention to what opponents are collecting. The origami-inspired illustrations are a lovely touch that elevates a simple card game. A great pick-up-and-play option for mixed groups.
