About the game
In Quacks of Quedlinburg, players are alchemists brewing potions by drawing ingredient chips from their own bag and adding them to a shared pot pattern. Push your luck too far and volatile cherry bombs may cause your potion to explode, costing you points or coins. Between rounds players buy new ingredients to improve their bag for future pushes. It's a light, tense push-your-luck game with a satisfying bag-building arc.
Hobbli's Notes
This is one of the best gateway push-your-luck designs around, simple enough to teach in five minutes but with real tension every round as the pot fills up. It's a reliable crowd-pleaser at family game nights.
