About the game
Aristeia! is a two-player tactical combat game set in the same futuristic Human Sphere universe as Corvus Belli's Infinity, where teams of star athletes battle in the deadly arena sport known as Aristeia!. You'll draft a roster of unique fighters, each with their own exclusive cards and abilities, and maneuver them across the HexaDome to outmaneuver your opponent. Tactics cards let you pull off devastating combos and clutch plays. With detailed miniatures and fast tactical combat, it delivers an accessible but skillful head-to-head experience in about an hour.
Hobbli's Notes
Aristeia! captures that gladiatorial arena-sports feel with genuinely tactical, miniatures-driven combat. The variable character abilities give it a lot of depth for a two-player skirmish game, and matches move at a satisfying pace. It's a great gateway into the Infinity universe's visual style without needing the full wargame ruleset. Fans of competitive positional combat games will find plenty to sink their teeth into here.
What we like
- Detailed miniatures and unique character cards add strong table presence.
- Tactical positioning and combos reward skillful play.
- Organized play support adds a competitive tournament scene.
- Expandable with new characters and Tactics cards.
Keep in mind
- Strictly two players limits group flexibility.
- Miniature-heavy components mean a higher price point.
- Learning each character's unique abilities takes time to master.
Who it's for
Great for two players ages 14+ who enjoy tactical miniatures combat and competitive skirmish games.
