About the game
NMBR 9 is a minimalist, meditative puzzle game where players stack and arrange numbered tiles from zero to nine, racing against a shared deck of number cards. Placing tiles higher scores exponentially more points, creating tense spatial decisions about when to expand outward versus build upward. Fully solitaire-compatible with simultaneous play, it packs deep spatial puzzling into a short 20-minute session. Its abstract, tile-laying design has made it a beloved gateway puzzle game since its 2017 release.
Hobbli's Notes
NMBR 9's simultaneous, low-conflict puzzle play makes it endlessly replayable and a fantastic light filler. Hobbli's team especially likes how quickly it teaches while still rewarding careful spatial planning turn after turn.
