About the game

Big Trouble in Little China: The Game is a cooperative adventure based on the cult classic film, sending Jack Burton and his allies into the mystical underworld of Chinatown to battle the sorcerer Lo Pan. Each character wields unique talents and abilities, working together across missions to earn Audacity while fighting hordes of minions with thematic dice rolling. Players explore iconic movie locations, uncover weapons and magic items, and build toward a climactic showdown with Lo Pan and his lieutenants. The game captures the film's campy, cinematic tone through variable player powers and storytelling elements. A Deluxe Edition expands the experience with a campaign mode and support for up to six players.

Hobbli's Notes

This is a fun, thematic co-op brawler that leans hard into the source film's campy energy, and fans of Big Trouble in Little China should get a real kick out of seeing its characters and setting recreated on the table. The dice-driven combat can be swingy, and with a two-hour playtime and notable downtime, it asks for real patience between turns. It's best enjoyed by a group who already loves the movie and wants an immersive, story-driven co-op experience rather than a tightly optimized strategy game. The miniatures and thematic detail add a lot of table presence.
