About the game

Oceanos casts players as submarine captains exploring the depths, drafting cards simultaneously to spot marine species, gather coral reefs, send divers after treasure, and collect crystals to upgrade their vessel. Each submarine has five independently upgradable sections that unlock different abilities as the game progresses. Since the entire 15-turn game is played simultaneously, it moves quickly and offers multiple viable paths to victory. Bright, appealing marine-life artwork brings this fast family exploration game to life.

Hobbli's Notes

Designed by Antoine Bauza, Oceanos delivers an easygoing card-drafting puzzle with just enough decision tension in how you sequence your submarine upgrades. The simultaneous play keeps the pace brisk, which is a big plus for a game aimed at families. It's not a deep strategic experience, but its charming marine theme and quick multiple-paths-to-victory design make it a pleasant filler for mixed groups.
