About the game
Mafia de Cuba is a fast, large-group social deduction party game set in 1950s Havana, where six to twelve players pass around a cigar box hiding stolen diamonds beneath its false bottom. Each player secretly chooses to betray the Godfather and steal diamonds, stay loyal, act as a getaway driver, or work undercover as a CIA agent. When the Godfather discovers his missing treasure, players must debate, deduce, and accuse to catch the thieves. Rounds run just twenty minutes, making it easy to play again immediately with a new set of secret roles.
Hobbli's Notes
This is squarely built for big, loud groups who enjoy Mafia-style hidden-role deduction, and the twenty-minute round length means you can easily fit in several games in one sitting. The high downtime score in the data hints that with the full twelve players, some folks may spend real time waiting between their turns to act or speak. It's a fun, accessible entry point into the social deduction genre for groups who don't already own a go-to title.
