About the game
Broom Service is a bluffing and hand-management game for 2-5 players who play witches, druids, and gatherers racing to deliver magic potions across a fantasy realm. Each round, players simultaneously choose four of their ten role cards and reveal them one at a time; every role offers a bold "brave" action that's stronger but stealable, or a safer "cowardly" action. Over seven rounds, players gather ingredients, brew potions, and deliver them for victory points, all while a weather fairy and evolving event cards shake up the board. It's a remake of the award-winning Witch's Brew, refreshed with new art and a two-player variant.
Hobbli's Notes
Broom Service excels at making simultaneous role selection feel genuinely tense: deciding whether to go brave or cowardly each round is a great push-your-luck puzzle. The whimsical witch theme and character variety keep things light and social. It rewards reading your opponents, which can frustrate very cautious players, and the rules take a session to fully click. A great pick for groups who enjoy clever bluffing wrapped in a colorful fantasy theme.
