About the game
V-Sabotage (formerly V-Commandos) is a cooperative WWII game where players lead elite Allied commandos on covert missions behind enemy lines. Teams can select pre-made missions or build their own from objective cards, then infiltrate in disguise, sneak past patrols, and strike when the moment is right. Getting spotted means opening fire with iconic Allied weapons or turning captured enemy guns against them. The focus stays on completing objectives and escaping before overwhelming enemy reinforcements arrive.
Hobbli's Notes
A tense, thematic stealth-and-combat cooperative game with excellent miniatures and strong mission variety. It delivers real edge-of-your-seat moments, but the long playtime and rules density make it a serious tabletop investment.
What we like
- Strong stealth-versus-combat tension throughout missions.
- Customizable objectives let players build their own scenarios.
- Solo mode is fully supported alongside co-op play.
- Quality miniatures and a modular board setup.
Keep in mind
- Playtime can stretch close to three hours.
- Rules complexity is high for newcomers to tactical games.
- Setup and component overhead is significant.
