About the game

Warfighter is a cooperative card game for one to six players who command elite Special Forces operators on present-day squad-level missions. Before each mission, players equip soldiers with skills, weapons, and gear within a strict resource limit, then fight through hostile territory using a detailed dice-based combat system that accounts for fire mode, range, ammo, suppression, and cover. Every mission is a standalone scenario playable in about thirty to sixty minutes, with soldiers gaining experience to upgrade over a campaign.

Hobbli's Notes

We're impressed by how much tactical nuance Warfighter packs into its combat resolution, layering multiple combat factors into a single dice roll for a genuinely narrative feel. The cooperative, mission-based structure and soldier progression give it strong replay value for wargame fans. It's a demanding, detail-heavy design that rewards players who enjoy granular tactical simulation over quick, casual play.
