About the game
Cinque Terre sends two to five players into the five coastal villages of Liguria to harvest and deliver produce for the best price. On each turn, players choose from taking Produce cards, moving their cart around the board, harvesting produce that matches cards in hand, and delivering goods to villages to fulfill public and private orders. Dynamic pricing set at the start of the game and competition for Most Popular Vendor status add extra layers of route-planning tension. The first player to complete five public orders triggers the endgame, after which the player with the most Lira wins.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's team likes this as a satisfying medium-light pickup-and-deliver puzzle with a pleasant Italian village theme. The action-point structure keeps turns snappy, and the order-fulfillment race gives the game a clear sense of momentum. It won't blow away seasoned euro gamers looking for deep strategy, but it's a solid, approachable choice for a family or casual game night.
What we like
- Accessible action-point system keeps turns quick and easy to follow.
- Charming Italian village theme ties nicely into the pickup-and-deliver mechanics.
- Order-fulfillment race creates clear late-game tension and pacing.
- Dynamic village pricing adds a layer of planning to each delivery.
Keep in mind
- Limited direct player interaction beyond competing for the same orders.
- Randomized pricing can occasionally feel arbitrary.
- Strategic depth is lighter than comparable euro pickup-and-deliver games.
Who it's for
Families and casual gamers who enjoy route-planning and set collection; works well for two to five players of varying experience.
