About the game

Time's Up! Edición Azul is a charades-based party game played in teams, best with pairs. Across three rounds using the same deck of famous characters, clue-giving rules get progressively stricter: almost anything goes in round one, only single words in round two, and no words at all in round three. Teams race to guess as many names as possible in 30 seconds per turn. The escalating structure means clues you gave early on pay off later when you're reduced to gestures alone.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli's team considers this a party game staple thanks to its brilliant three-round escalation, which builds hilarious callback moments as the deck repeats. It shines with larger groups and a bit of rowdiness. The main downside is downtime while waiting for your turn in bigger groups, but the payoff in laughs is well worth it.

Keep in mind

  • Downtime can build up while waiting for your turn.
