About the game

Dominion: Intrigue expands the deck-building genre Dominion pioneered with 25 new Kingdom cards full of scheming and secret plots. Players start with a small identical deck and buy increasingly powerful cards from a shared market, shaping their strategy on the fly each game. It can be played as a standalone game or combined with the original Dominion for even more variety and higher player counts. Efficient deck construction and careful timing are the keys to outpacing rivals to the victory points.

Intrigue remains one of the best entry points into deck-building, often edging out the original Dominion thanks to more interactive card interactions. It plays quickly, teaches easily, and offers enormous variety since only ten of the twenty-five Kingdom cards are used each game. We regularly recommend it to customers who loved Dominion and want fresh card combinations. It also scales nicely up to six players when paired with the base game.
