About the game

Factory Fun challenges players to build the most profitable factory by connecting input and output reservoirs to machines using pipeline pieces, all under real-time pressure. Each machine converts colored resources into more advanced products, and connecting machines directly to each other creates valuable chains that boost your profits. As the game progresses, the puzzle becomes increasingly intricate, forcing players to think and build quickly before their opponents finish their layouts. At the end, whoever has built the most efficient, highest-earning factory wins.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli's editorial team loves the frantic real-time puzzle-solving that Factory Fun brings to the tile-laying genre, a refreshing change from the usual slow, turn-based Euro game pace. The tension of racing to connect machines correctly while your opponents scramble beside you never gets old. Designer Corné van Moorsel's knack for clever puzzle design (also seen in Adjustable Wrench) shines through in the escalating difficulty curve. We recommend it for groups who enjoy a fast-paced, competitive spatial puzzle challenge.

What we like

  • Unique real-time mechanic sets it apart from typical tile-laying games.
  • Escalating puzzle difficulty keeps repeated plays interesting.
  • Fast 45-minute playtime with high player engagement throughout.
  • Available in expandable editions supporting more players.

Keep in mind

  • Real-time pressure can be stressful for players who prefer slower planning.
  • Physical dexterity and speed matter as much as strategy.
  • Chaotic pace may not suit players who dislike simultaneous play.

Who it's for

Great for puzzle-loving families and gamers aged 10+ who enjoy real-time spatial challenges in groups of 2-5.
