About the game
Fromage puts players in the shoes of early 20th-century French cheesemakers striving to become the most prestigious creamery in the country. Each round, players simultaneously place workers on the quadrant of a rotating board facing them, gathering resources and crafting cheese before the board turns to age their wares and reveal a new quadrant. Prestige points come from selling cheese and upgrading your creamery efficiently. The rotating rondel keeps the shared board fresh and unpredictable across the game's simultaneous worker-placement structure. It plays with 1 to 4 players in about 45 minutes.
Hobbli's Notes
A clever spin on worker placement thanks to the rotating board, which keeps everyone guessing what quadrant they'll face next. The cheese theme is charming and the simultaneous-action pacing keeps things moving briskly.
