About the game
Abducktion casts players as alien interns tasked with abducting ducks into specific formations aboard a UFO. Using action cards, you rearrange your own ducks, or sabotage your opponents', on individual stream boards that hold up to 10 ducks each. When your ducks match a shared formation card's pattern, you collect it and pull more ducks from the UFO to chase your next pattern. With spatial logic and light player interaction, it's a fast 15-minute puzzle for solo or multiplayer play. The absurd sci-fi duck premise adds plenty of charm.
Hobbli's Notes
Abducktion is a clever little spatial puzzle dressed up in an irresistibly silly sci-fi duck theme. Hobbli's team likes that it plays just as well solo as with a full table, since the core challenge is rearranging your own duck formations efficiently. At 15 minutes, it's an easy filler that still asks for genuine logical thinking. It's a fun, low-commitment pick for fans of light pattern-building puzzles.
