About the game
Beacon Patrol is a cooperative tile-laying exploration game where players sail the North Sea coast as Coast Guard captains, checking beacon buoys and lighthouses for safety. Players place tiles adjacent to existing ones and move their ships across the growing map, aiming to fully surround as many tiles as possible on all four sides. It's a relaxed, low-conflict co-op designed for quick, easygoing play. Cooperation and careful tile placement determine how much of the sea your team can safely explore.
Hobbli's Notes
We find this a lovely, calming co-op: the tile-laying puzzle is simple enough for anyone to grasp but still has real strategic texture in where you place next. It's an easy teach and a genuinely relaxing group experience. A great gateway co-op for players newer to the genre.
