About the game

Air, Land, & Sea: Spies, Lies, & Supplies expands Jon Perry's acclaimed two-player card game with three brand-new theaters: Intelligence, Diplomacy, and Economics. Players duel over six fronts, bluffing and repositioning cards to seize majority control before either side runs out of will to fight. It can be played entirely standalone with just the new theaters, mixed with the base game, or combined into a five-theater Epic Mode for a longer showdown. Each round is a tight puzzle of when to play strong, when to sacrifice, and when to bluff.

Hobbli's Notes

This is exactly the kind of expansion Hobbli loves to see: it doesn't just add more cards, it adds entirely new decision spaces to an already tight design. The new theaters feel distinct enough that veterans of the base game will need to relearn some instincts. It's still a lightning-fast duel, so it earns a permanent spot in date-night and lunch-break rotations.

What we like

  • Fast, tense bluffing duel that rewards reading your opponent.
  • New theaters (Intelligence, Diplomacy, Economics) add real variety to the core system.
  • Easy to teach and set up in minutes.
  • Scales from a quick standalone game to a longer Epic Mode.

Keep in mind

  • Full value depends on owning or knowing the base game.
  • Strictly two players, so it won't work for larger groups.
  • Card draw luck can swing individual rounds.

Who it's for

Ideal for two players, ages 14 and up, who enjoy sharp bluffing duels and quick strategic card games.
