About the game
Next Station: London challenges players to design London's underground network, drawing tube lines to connect stations, serve landmarks, and route tunnels beneath the Thames. Each round, a new station card is revealed and everyone simultaneously draws a new section onto their own paper map, optimizing four separate tube lines at once. Because everyone plays at the same time on their own sheet, it moves briskly regardless of player count, and it plays just as well solo as with a full table. Scoring rewards connecting key sights and following the city's specific route requirements, so smart planning pays off round after round. It's a light, quick flip-and-write puzzle wrapped in an appealing city-building theme.
Hobbli's Notes
This is a lovely little roll-and-write style puzzle with a strong sense of place: mapping out the Underground feels genuinely satisfying as your network grows. Because everyone draws simultaneously, there's essentially zero downtime, which makes it a great palate-cleanser between heavier games. It's simple enough to teach in a couple of minutes but has just enough decision-making to reward careful planning. A great pick for solo play or a quick multiplayer session alike.
