About the game
Autobahn is an economic strategy game about building Germany's motorway network across three historical periods, from postwar reconstruction to the modern era. As a director within the BundesAutobahn Organisation, you'll build roads, ferry goods between regions, and construct petrol stations to grow your influence. Hand management and a tech-track system let you plan efficient routes and unlock new scoring opportunities over time. With a full solo mode, it's a deep pick-up-and-deliver game for 1-4 players.
Hobbli's Notes
Fabio Lopiano's designs consistently reward careful long-term planning, and Autobahn is no exception, layering hand management on top of a satisfying network-building puzzle. The historical German motorway theme is a fresh angle for an economic euro. It's a meaty game, so expect a proper strategy-night commitment rather than a casual filler.
