About the game

Décorum is a cooperative, hidden-information puzzle where two players share the goal of decorating their home to make them both happy: without ever saying exactly what they need. Each player secretly holds a scenario card listing rules about the décor, and the two must add, remove, swap, or repaint items while responding only with 'Love it,' 'Hate it,' or 'Fine with it.' Watching your partner's moves as closely as your own is essential to cracking each of the 30 unique scenarios. At its heart, it's a logic puzzle about communication and compromise as much as deduction.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli loves how Décorum turns restricted communication into the real puzzle: it's less about solving a static logic problem and more about reading your partner's intentions, which makes for a surprisingly emotional, cooperative experience.

What we like

  • Innovative cooperative puzzle built around limited communication.
  • Thoughtful design that mechanically encourages compromise.
  • 30 varied scenarios provide strong replay value.
  • Unique home-decorating theme stands out from typical puzzle games.

Keep in mind

  • Designed specifically for two players, limiting group size.
  • Restrictive communication rules require patience to enjoy.
  • Players who prefer open discussion may find the format frustrating.

Who it's for

Perfect for pairs aged 13+ who enjoy cooperative logic puzzles and communication-limited deduction, especially couples or close friends.
