About the game

TEN is a push-your-luck and auction game where players flip cards one at a time, trying to build the longest color sequence without exceeding a total value of ten. Push too far and you bust, losing your progress for the round, but currency lets you buy extra cards to fill gaps in your sequences. Valuable wildcards trigger auctions among players, adding a bidding layer to the push-your-luck tension. It's designed as an easy-to-learn family game with a satisfying risk-reward core.

Hobbli's Notes

A snappy little filler with genuine tension in every card flip. The auction twist for wildcards adds just enough extra decision-making to keep it interesting.

What we like

  • Simple, easy-to-teach push-your-luck rules.
  • Genuinely tense decisions on whether to push further.
  • Works well as both a solo and multiplayer game.
  • Auction mechanic adds a nice strategic layer.

Keep in mind

  • High luck factor in the card draws.
  • Limited long-term depth for veteran gamers.
  • Can feel repetitive after many plays.

Who it's for

Good for families and casual groups aged 8+ looking for a quick push-your-luck game, playing 1-5 players.
