About the game
Sagani is an abstract puzzle game where players balance the four elements, Earth, Water, Air, and Fire, to draw spirits out of their vessels and into the visible world. Using Sound discs, players connect, match, and place tiles in a race to bring harmony to the land. Every spirit revealed brings a player closer to victory in this colorful, meditative design. Its blend of drafting, pattern-building, and grid connections makes for a tight tactical puzzle.
Hobbli's Notes
We appreciate the elegant, colorful abstraction here: it plays fast but rewards careful pattern-building. It's a quieter, more cerebral title that won't grab players looking for high drama, but abstract puzzle fans will find plenty to chew on. A nice light-to-medium option for two dedicated players or small groups.
What we like
- Elegant, colorful abstract puzzle design.
- Supports 1-4 players with balanced solo mode.
- Fast-playing at around an hour.
- Satisfying pattern-building and drafting mechanics.
Keep in mind
- Limited theme integration beyond visual flavor.
- May feel too abstract for players wanting narrative or interaction.
Who it's for
Good for puzzle and abstract strategy fans aged 8 and up, playable solo or with up to four players.
