About the game
In Picture Perfect, you must arrange fourteen quirky characters into the perfect group photo, satisfying as many hidden desires as possible. Each character's three wishes are sealed in envelopes, so you'll need to peek, deduce, and trade information with your opponents to piece together the puzzle. Careful memory work and shrewd negotiation help you place characters correctly and out-score the table. Whoever fulfills the most desires becomes the master photographer.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's editorial team enjoys how Picture Perfect turns a simple photo-arranging idea into a clever social deduction puzzle. The tension between cooperating enough to gain information and holding back your own secrets makes every round feel different. It's light enough to teach quickly but has real bite for players who like reading people as much as reading cards. A nice change of pace for groups tired of standard deduction games.
What we like
- Unique blend of deduction, memory, and negotiation.
- Quick to teach with a strong social hook.
- Hidden victory points keep everyone guessing until the end.
- Variable set-up gives high replayability.
Keep in mind
- Heavier on negotiation, which not all groups enjoy.
- Can feel chaotic if players don't share information fairly.
- Memory element may frustrate some players.
Who it's for
Great for ages 10+ groups of 2-4 who enjoy negotiation, memory, and deduction games with a social edge.
