About the game
Ride the Rails puts you at the helm of railroad companies racing to deliver passengers across the United States. You'll invest in railway companies, lay track, and shuttle travelers to as many cities as possible while collecting dividends as a shareholder. Each round introduces a new railroad company with its own placement rules, keeping the map and strategy fresh. As the second title in Capstone Games' Iron Rail series, it blends pick-up-and-deliver logistics with a dash of stock holding.
Hobbli's Notes
Ride the Rails is a solid pick for train game fans who like a bit of stock-market flavor mixed into their route-building. It's approachable enough for a game night but still offers real strategic depth as companies evolve each round. Hobbli appreciates how the shifting company rules keep repeated plays interesting.
