About the game

Dungeon Mayhem: Monster Madness puts you in control of one of six iconic D&D monsters, each armed with a unique deck of attack, defense, and special-power cards. Players race to reduce opponents' health to zero in fast, chaotic ten-minute duels. The monster-sized box supports up to six players and mixes with other Dungeon Mayhem decks for endless matchups. It's pure, quick-fire card combat with a grin-inducing D&D flavor.

Hobbli's Notes

This is a perfect palate-cleanser game, simple enough for kids and fast enough for adults craving a quick brawl between heavier games. The variable monster powers give it just enough asymmetry to stay interesting across replays. It's light on strategy, so don't expect much depth, but that's exactly the point.

What we like

  • Extremely fast setup and play time make it perfect between longer games.
  • Variable monster powers add asymmetric replay value.
  • Easy rules make it accessible to kids and non-gamers alike.
  • Compatible with other Dungeon Mayhem sets for more player variety.

Keep in mind

  • Limited strategic depth compared to heavier card games.
  • Take-that mechanics and player elimination can frustrate sore losers.
  • Matches can feel repetitive after many plays.

Who it's for

Great for families and casual groups of 2-6, ages 8 and up, looking for a quick, silly card-combat filler.
