About the game

Disney Villainous: Evil Comes Prepared drops 2-3 players into the shoes of Scar, Yzma, or Ratigan, each pursuing a completely different path to victory drawn straight from their own movie. On your turn you move your character around your personal board, trigger the actions available there, and use Fate cards to sabotage your opponents' plans. Because every villain has a unique deck, board, and win condition, no two matchups play the same way. It stands entirely on its own, while also mixing freely with other Villainous sets you may already own.

Hobbli's Notes

This is one of the strongest entries in the Villainous line for us, mostly because the villain trio feels genuinely distinct rather than reskinned. The take-that Fate deck keeps the table engaged even when it's not your turn, which is a real strength of the design. It's a fantastic gateway for Disney fans who want something with real strategic bite.

What we like

  • Each villain plays completely differently, giving strong replay value.
  • Fully standalone, no need to own the base Villainous game.
  • Fate card sabotage keeps opponents' turns relevant to you.
  • Beloved Disney theme with strong component quality.

Keep in mind

  • Take-that sabotage can feel frustrating to players who dislike direct interference.
  • Villain balance is uneven, with some win conditions easier than others.
  • Limited to 2-3 players, so it won't scale to a larger group.

Who it's for

Perfect for families and Disney fans aged 10+ who want an asymmetric strategy game with light conflict; best with 2-3 players.
