About the game

In Front of the Elevators is a lighthearted card game about squeezing your family members onto a crowded department store elevator before the doors close. Two to four players use "Cut In Line" and "Lost Child" abilities to jostle for position and score points across three rounds. Its clever character abilities and area-majority-style positioning create tight, comedic tension. Designed by Saashi, it plays quickly in around 40 minutes.

Hobbli's Notes

We find the everyday-life theme charming and the card interactions surprisingly clever for such a small box game. Each character's unique ability keeps decisions interesting despite the simple premise. It's a great light filler that still rewards careful timing. A fun, quirky choice for groups who enjoy Japanese-style card games with a comedic edge.
