About the game

LLAMA is a quick, addictive card game by Reiner Knizia where players race to empty their hands by playing matching or ascending numbered cards, or llama cards. On your turn you can play a card, draw a card, or quit and lock in your remaining hand for scoring. Quitting early can protect you from a growing point penalty, but the temptation to keep playing for a shot at zero points is ever-present. Rounds continue until someone reaches forty or more points, at which point the player with the fewest points wins.
