About the game

Soviet Kitchen Unleashed casts players as Soviet field cooks cooperatively assembling meals from whatever questionable ingredients they can scrounge up. Using companion app support, players scan ingredient cards to mix colors in a virtual meat grinder, discussing colors and effects without revealing their hands to match the ordered dish. Some ingredients are toxic -- even radioactive -- so timing when to slip in the bad stuff is key to survival. With a 21-mission story mode and a separate challenge mode for high-score chasing, it's a quirky cooperative card game about color mixing and poison management.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli's team gets a kick out of the dark humor and Soviet kitchen theme layered over a clever color-mixing puzzle. The app integration streamlines teaching, which is a nice touch for a game with an unusual central mechanic. Push-your-luck poison management adds real tension to what could otherwise be a straightforward guessing game. It's a niche title, but its humor and mechanics make it a memorable cooperative filler.
