About the game
GoodCritters is a negotiation and bluffing party game for four to eight players about splitting the loot after a big heist. One player becomes the boss and decides how to divide the spoils, but the rest of the crew gets the final say: if they don't like the split, they can vote out the boss and put someone else in charge. It plays in about 45 minutes and thrives on table talk, persuasion, and a bit of betrayal as players jockey to end up with the most valuable stash. The critter theming keeps the cutthroat negotiation lighthearted and silly rather than mean-spirited.
Hobbli's Notes
GoodCritters is a riot with the right group: the negotiation and voting create constant table talk, alliances, and betrayals that make for great stories afterward. It scales unusually well for a party game, comfortably handling up to eight players without dragging. The cute critter art helps take the edge off what is, underneath it all, a fairly ruthless negotiation game. A great pick for larger, talkative groups.
