About the game
Charterstone is a competitive legacy game in which players build a shared village over twelve linked games, permanently adding building stickers to the board that become new action spaces for everyone. Starting with simple worker-placement choices, the village grows increasingly complex as more buildings and options unlock across the campaign. Designed by Jamey Stegmaier, it culminates in a completely unique, standalone worker-placement game shaped entirely by your group's choices. With solo play support and a rich medieval theme, it offers a substantial legacy experience for dedicated groups.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's team admires how Charterstone turns worker placement into an evolving, personalized experience: no two groups' final villages play the same. The narrative reveals and permanent board changes keep the campaign feeling fresh across all twelve games. It's a serious commitment, but the payoff is a genuinely unique game you helped create. Solo support is a nice bonus for players wanting to experience the story alone.
