About the game
A standalone expansion to Dead of Winter, The Long Night drops survivors into a new colony besieged by both the undead and the horrifying experiments spilling out of the Raxxon facility. Players cooperate, though hidden agendas may pit them against each other, to manage resources, fend off raids, and decide whether to explore Raxxon for powerful gear at the risk of releasing worse threats. Secret objectives and a traitor mechanic keep every session tense and unpredictable. It can be combined with the original Dead of Winter for even greater variety.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's team rates The Long Night as a great semi-cooperative survival horror experience, prized for its psychological tension around hidden loyalties and impossible resource trade-offs. The morality-driven choices and betrayal potential make every playthrough a different story.
