About the game

Love Letter: Batman reskins Seiji Kanai's beloved deduction game with a Batman-themed cast of criminals and heroes. Each player starts with a single card and draws one more each turn, using its power to expose or eliminate opponents, all while trying to hold the highest-value card or be the last one standing. Joker sits at the top of the sixteen-card deck, with Harley Quinn, Robin, and Batman himself filling out key roles, and Batman's own ability can score you points directly. First to seven points wins the whole game.

Hobbli's Notes

This is Love Letter at its core, just dressed up in a fun Batman rogues' gallery theme, and that's honestly the whole appeal here. If you already love the original, the theme is a nice bonus rather than a mechanical overhaul. It's a tiny, portable deduction game that's easy to bring anywhere and teach in minutes.

What we like

  • Quick, easy-to-learn deduction gameplay.
  • Fun Batman villain theme adds flavor to a proven formula.
  • Tiny footprint makes it ideal for travel.
  • High replayability despite the small sixteen-card deck.

Keep in mind

  • Outcomes are heavily dependent on card draw luck.
  • Limited strategic depth beyond the original Love Letter formula.
  • The licensed theme is a surface reskin rather than new mechanics.

Who it's for

Great for 2-4 players aged 10+ who enjoy quick deduction games, especially Batman fans looking for a themed spin on a classic.
