About the game
Gravwell is a light, fast sci-fi card game about escaping a black hole before your ship runs out of fuel. Draft fuel cards each round and secretly plan your moves, knowing that ships are pulled toward the nearest object - including each other. Careful timing and a single Emergency Stop card can mean the difference between slingshotting to victory or crashing into a derelict wreck. With simultaneous card reveals and constantly shifting positions, every round is unpredictable chaos. First to the warp gate wins, but nobody is ever safe.
Hobbli's Notes
Gravwell is a clever, chaotic little game that turns simple card drafting into a surprisingly tactical spatial puzzle. The alphabetical resolution order creates a fun push-and-pull as your carefully laid plans get derailed by opponents' moves. It plays fast and supports solo play, making it a flexible pick for filler slots. It won't offer deep strategy, but the shared groans and laughs when someone gets pulled off course make it a great light game.
