About the game
Zug um Zug: Deutschland is a standalone entry in the Ticket to Ride series, released specifically for the German and Austrian market. Players collect train cards to claim routes between cities on a map set at the turn of the 20th century, aiming to build networks that complete their secret destination tickets. Points are earned for claiming routes and completed tickets, while incomplete tickets count against a player's final score. It reuses the map from Ticket to Ride: Märklin but drops that game's passenger mechanism, with slightly adjusted ticket and train-card counts. Designed for 2-5 players, it plays in about 60 minutes.
