About the game

Krosmaster: Arena is a tactical, player-versus-player miniatures game set in the Krosmoz universe, where captured warriors are forced to battle for their freedom in Hormonde's arena. Players build teams of collectible anime-style figures, equip them with spells, weapons, and items, then maneuver and attack using action points, dice rolls, and drafting for team composition. Random event cards and varying win conditions keep matches unpredictable from game to game. It supports two to four players in about an hour, with each figure's point value helping balance team-building. The blind-box collectible format encourages players to keep expanding their roster over time.

Hobbli's Notes

Krosmaster: Arena brings a lot of charm through its colorful figures and the wider Wakfu/Krosmoz universe, and the tactical combat has real bite for a relatively approachable game. The collectible model is a double-edged sword: fun for completionists, but potentially costly for players chasing specific figures. It's best enjoyed by groups already invested in the source material or drawn in by the miniatures themselves.

What we like

  • Colorful anime-style miniatures add strong visual appeal.
  • Flexible team-building lets players customize their tactical approach.
  • Variable scenarios and event cards add real replay variety.
  • Collectible format encourages ongoing collection and expansion.

Keep in mind

  • Collectible blind-box model can be costly to complete a full collection.
  • Balance between different figures can feel uneven.
  • Full enjoyment benefits from familiarity with the Krosmoz/Wakfu universe.

Who it's for

Good for tactical miniatures fans in groups of two to four, ages 12 and up, especially those familiar with the Wakfu/Krosmoz universe.
