About the game

Arkham Horror: Lovecraft Letter reimagines Seiji Kanai's beloved Love Letter deduction system with a chilling Cthulhu Mythos twist. Players collect clues about an eldritch mystery, drawing one card and playing one each turn, with certain cards driving your character insane in exchange for powerful new effects: at the cost of a sanity check each turn. It supports two to six players in about twenty minutes, keeping rounds fast and tense. As a reimagined edition of the earlier Lovecraft Letter, it brings updated visuals and mechanics fully themed around the Arkham Horror universe. The push-your-luck insanity mechanic adds fresh risk on top of the classic deduction formula.

Hobbli's Notes

This is a great example of reskinning a proven system well: the insanity mechanic gives the familiar Love Letter formula a genuinely new layer of push-your-luck tension. It plays fast, so it's easy to squeeze in multiple rounds in a single sitting. Fans of the original Love Letter or Lovecraft Letter will find plenty familiar here, wrapped in a stronger Arkham Horror aesthetic.
